4th grade Book Report
1st Quarter due Friday, October 5
Read a book of your choice
- The book may be an AR book
- The book must be on your reading level
- Your report must be typed, in paragraph form, double spaced
Paragraph one needs to include
- The title
- The author
- The setting (time and place)
- The main characters
Paragraph two needs to include
- A summary of the story (I do not want a word for word account). This should be about 6 to 10 sentences in length. Tell me the story in your own words.
Paragraph three needs to include
- Your opinion of the story. Did you like it and why? Did you not like it and why? Would you recommend the story to a classmate or not?
On a separate sheet of paper, please include an illustration (a picture) of your favorite part of the story with a caption. This picture can be a hand drawn picture, a computer generated picture, or a collage of magazine clippings.
